This 1.5 km trek from Mankhim to Aritar Lake (Lampokhari) through forests is perfect for first timers, birdwatchers and even children. This downhill trek starts from Mankhim and passes through some forested areas with glimpses of the Lampokhari lake and Mt. Kanchenjungha accompanying you. The entire trail is guarded by railings and is stone paved making it completely safe for family members and children. The meandering trail is dotted by temporary trekker’s shades and viewpoints to give a thrilling experience to a trek.
There is no accommodation within the trek route. Guests need to stay at Mankhim and start the downhill trek.
